Hey, Everyone!
My name is Corey and starting now I am a blogger. I guess. If you sense some apprehension in my previous statement it is because I am pretty scared to start blogging. While I have blogged in the past, a two month stint in the 8th grade during which I commented on the stresses and drama of my suburban middle school, I actually feel a lot of pressure this time. Not in that this feels forced (I am seriously having an in-blog epiphany/heart-to-heart with you right now); but, that I want to share my message and preferably in an enlightening fashion.
So YES, I am a blogger! You can add it to my repertoire along with certified smoothie maker, spelling bee movie star, a self proclaimed artist and fulltime individual. I guess I just sort of do it all.
Okay so I will admit I don’t know what my message is, entirely. Matter of fact right now I don’t have any specific message to tell you. This is because my message isn’t concrete; my message and who I am is constantly evolving and for the first time I hope to capture and share my evolution through this blog. That is why I am blogging. I can assure you that as we go on this adventure together my message will be further developed and refined not only to share with the world but so I too can learn about myself.
So I will admit I have really high aspirations for this blog (if you couldn’t tell) and chances are the world won’t change and I probably won’t deliver myself to some empowered state through my ramblings here. However, I am going to stick to my intentions and hopefully some good comes from it. What that good will be, I don’t know. But if it is something as trivial as having you question the way you think, I know I have accomplished something.
I can’t wait to start blogging and I am excited to start this journey together with you!
Best,
Corey

You could be like Shauna! Except instead of changing the world through perfect smoothies, you change it through blogging. Rad.
